The Wildfire S GTX is a low-cut tech approach shoe with a ballistic mesh upper and GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining to provide waterproof and breathable protection.
Designed for approaches, technical hiking and rocky mountain paths, the Wildfire S GTX offers very good climbing performance thanks to its Vibram™ Tech Approach EVO outsole with Megagrip compound – a high-performance, sticky but durable rubber compound also used in rock shoes that gives 25% more traction.
Patented SALEWA technologies ensure a precise fit: the Exa Shell grid structure works together with the Climbing Lacing, which extends right to the toe for a more precise fit; the 3F System provides firm ankle and heel support.
Finally the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF ) uses interchangeable layers so you can adapt it to the unique shape of your foot, enabling SALEWA’s trademark Alpine Fit 100% blister free guarantee.
