When compared to current aftermarket sports oil filters, the HKS performance oil filter improves oil pressure drop and flow properties by approximately 30%. HKS's specially designed paper filter increased the filter paper surface area by approximately 15% over the stock. As a result, the dust collection performance has significantly improved. This filter captures particles up to 20u in size and meets the requirements of most engines.
In normal use, we recommend replacing the oil filter every 10,000km or 6 months, and in sports or racing use, we recommend replacing it every 3,000km to 5,000km. The outer color was changed from black to purple, which was previously used in HKS products. The vivid purple color conveys a sense of devotion to the custom.
